Noone would be able to identify that with 100% accuracy based on that image.

Are you able to get a more focused image?

thanks bluetongue, i was half right i suspected the marbled gecko bit
 this place is rubbing off on me

you edited while i was answering bluetongue, ill ask her if she can pm me a state and see if she can get a better photo

Looks like Christinus marmoratus

Cheers,
Scott

where bouts is it found?

my first thought was christinus marmoratus but something isnt right (the pic is the biggest reason lolol)
either christinus marmoratus or a gehyra, location would be great!

shes in Canberra, thats all i know so far as shes not been back to the other forum yet

Marbled Gecko (Christinus marmoratus)

I am not sure why, but the photo posted was initially really fuzzy. You couldn’t make out the fingers and it looked like the lizard was being held on a cloth. I revised my initial ID based on the apparent shape of the digits. With the photo now up, that was clearly wrong.

Goldmember, an excellent observation.

Jeannine, the knowledge obviously is rubbing off on you. That’s great.

Scott, I am always happy when I can concur with you.

she has told me she will try to get a better photo during the week and ill post it in here to confirm identity

thanks guys
