Getting into the Herp World

Hey.
Im asking for a favour from any people in the sydney area. I would love to see whats around, see different reptiles in the flesh and see how other people set up their enclosures. The other thing Im very interested in is going what I believe (from reading this site) is called herping. Going out into the bush and looking for reptiles. In short I wanna plunge in and experience the world of Herps.

I would also love advice regarding which herp societies in Sydney are the most popular and fun.

Don't know about fun, that depends on the night. But the three most popular in Sydney (the only three in Sydney that I know of) would be the Australian Herp Society, the Hawkesbury Herp Society and the Macarthur Herp Society.
