can anyone please give advice i have a eleven week old goldentail gecko i purchased two one is eating well the other doesnt seem to eat is getting very thin any advice on what to try to get him to eat please any help is appreciated:(:(:(

I would be misting them lightly at least once a day until they get a bit older. They won't eat if dehydrated.

Are they housed separately?

What are you feeding them?

What are they housed in?

I house baby spiny tailed geckos separately - (we cannot keep their golden tailed cousins in Vic), in 250ml round take away food containers. This ensures that they do not have to chase their food very far.

I also dust every meal for the young ones with calcium.

measure the temps, and show pics of enclosure if possible. They should be eating like vacumes, and grow fast.

what temps should they be on got them heat mat about 26-28 is that to hot or to cold

I keep mine at 28 - 32, in 10 L plastic tubs with aluminium mesh melted into half of the lid for ventilation, sand substrate with planty of sticks for climbing, misted twice a week.
