Greeting from Coomabah(?) lakes

Had a wander around the park there and saw this guy

but far more interesting was this joe. This area has had a high cane toad population for at least 20 years

He is another photo where the joe was explaining that if I didn't stop bothering him he was going to rip my head off and spit down my neck. He did a lot of huffing and hissing

ANd there were quite a few bearded dragons around but they were very shy, ducking and running for cover if I got within 50 meters of them. This suggests that they are hunted there

Dont no if Coomabah is in QLD or NTH NSW fuscus but its good to see black snakes,green tree snakes and red belly populations seem not to eat toads anymore in se Qld,they seem to be common
