hey everybody,
I recently purchased a 1 month old spotted python and am keeping him in a decent sized food container (with airholes take it easy) within a 45cm x 45cm enclosure. when should i make the transition from container to enclosure? he seems to be doing ok, doesnt mind being handled, has adequate warmth, hidey holes, water etc. but wont eat.

Give him a bit more time to settle in before you offer him food, he might still be a bit stressed because he is in a new environment.

How big is the click clack? Depending on the size, you might not need the adult enclosure for a year or more. Also, what sort of heating are you using? If it's a heat lamp it's probably not a great idea to use the heat source from the large enclosure to heat the click clack because you won't be getting much of a gradient
