Hi all, I'm looking for a young python. I have never had one before, but very keen to learn about them. I don't have my license to own one yet, but I was just curious as to what type of python I should get? I'm looking for a python that doesn't grow too big either. Can anyone help? Thanks :)

Hey Jordy,

Sounds like you have a lot of research ahead of you :) This site has a great variety of information, you should find everything you need.

Small-ish first pythons I'd recommend would be woma, stimsons, childrens and spotteds. Stimsons, childrens and spotteds go from $100-$180 on average and womas are a bit more expensive at $180-$350 but definitely worth it :D:D:D

Thank you that helps :)
I have previously done some reasearch on those particular breeds, and they do seem like a great first python. I am just having trouble finding a local breeder.. :)
