Help with first geckos

hi i just recieved my first geckos, there a pair of wheeleri and look awesome , but when i got them out of there little bags they were sent in i noticed they stunk really bad and after being in there new tank for a day they still smell really bad. Is this normal? and is there any way i can wash them? I've only ever owned snakes and never had this problem before

no dont wash them They will freak, just give them a spray of water & soon the smell will go away. mine were the same, You would smell bad too if u were in a bag and had to sit in ur pee n poop
