Hi there,

First time on for me and really liking this site. i have been interested in snakes for years now but never really looked into keeping one. But times change, I have just purchased a male South Western Carpet Python about two weeks ago (got my licence week before) and came on this site to find out from people that know, if im doing everything right, from what im reading its all good.

Loving my new pet and yes have already been Tagged as you say, he got my on the arm this morning.

I have actually brought him as a surprise christmas present for my Fiance who is mad about snakes but never owned one (I'm going to be in the good books for years after this one).

Included a couple of pics, from what the reptile dealer told me he is about 31/2 yrs old and was wild caught around 8 months ago, he is around 4 foot long and abit over 1 1/2 inchs round at his biggest point.

Let me know what you think.

Simesy.
