Hi Everyone, from a turtle owner

Hi Everyone,

I have 2 eastern long necked turtles, which I have had for around 2 and 1/2 years. I am a member of a couple of turtle forums, but have only just stumbled upon APS. I am interested in herps in general, but have a soft spot for turtles and frogs.

I have just recently moved to far northern NSW from Sydney and have not yet sussed out a good herp vet in the area. I know my chances in far North NSW are probably slim, so can anyone recommend a decent vet in the vicinity of the gold coast? Would this be likely to cause me strife by crossing the border for vet treatment if need be?

I have been watching for a few days, and this seems like a nice herp community, glad I found it, and looking forward to talking to "meeting" you all.
