Just replaced the paper in my macs with red desert sand...its a bit damp and now the humidity of the enclosure is above 80%. is this level dangerous??? should settle down within a few days when the moisture evaporites but how about now?

Add a little bit more ventilation temporarily, oe not even, a few days wont hurt i think. You could always dry it more in the oven???

when i can i open the doors and let air circulate, though thats only when i have time to watch them. can't bake it cause of the trouble of the whole moving it thing, have it on white carpet so have to be really careful not to drop any on the floor.
