i'm getting 4 adult tawny dragons soon, i have a 3ft tank that i have just emptied, i was planning to have childrens play sand as the substrate and have a small pile of rocks for them to climp on, what else should i have?

John

heat source but are we talking fish tank or a timber cage?
builders sand is better, also timber would be good too

Make sure you keep them extremely well quarantined and keep a close eye on them for anything unusual.

I heard sand is bad for reptiles (? even though they live in it). I use that crushed walnut stuff, looks good and is easy to clean with a kitty litter scoop

you could put some fake plants in there for greenery? then you can hose them off when they get dirty. And a special reptile fluro light

I use Reptile Desert Sand and my Beardies love it, scatching around and kicking up a ruckus
