Subject: Taken at a Pilbara Mine Site
These pics were taken by one of the the NRW crew at Cloudbreak this week. It took a total of 5 hours for the snake to finish it off. As you can see, they put some signage up so it couldn't be run over.

I like the way the people were thoughtful enough to put up the signs, its a long way from "The only good snake is a dead one" mentality!!!

It is good to see, and being a mine worker, you see it all the time now, the mines being very protective of the local wildlife. Very rarely do you see any road kill on mine access, and haul roads.

cheers grunter023 for going to the effort to post those. a lot of those i havnt seen either. :)such a spectacular feast to be able to witness, so thanks alot:D

They are awesome pictures. I hadn't seen all those before.

I'm impressed they made the effort to fence off the bhp for it's safety.

I bet the bhp had a good sleep after that feed.
