Hi guys,
newbie so apologies in advance if i ask silly questions :p

i was just wondering if any of you could show me your southern angle headed dragon enclosures. Also would i need an kind of heat source for them because i read you don't need any,But since I'm in melbourne i thought i might need it

thanks raff

hey raffa,
I'm a newbie here too... just got my angle heads about 3 months ago.. so no expert.
My enclosure is 60Wx50Dx65H. The breeder I got them off said this would be ok for 2 angle heads, but no more.
ambient temp seems to be ok, but I heat mine on some really cold days.
I've attached some pics...
If you have any more questions I'm happy to share my limited experience with you..:)

I have been keeping some Angles in Melbourne for the last 7 months

Their preferred body temperatures are between 18 - 28 degrees

I found once the enclosure dropped below 18 in winter they stopped feeding

I have provided them with a heat mat under the enclosure set at 25 degrees which keeps them above 18 all the time and they have continued to feed and grow well

If you have heating in your house you may not need supplementary heating though
