I built a very simple incubator I had everything lying around home besides vermiculite and a digital temperate probe.
Just a old esky with a heat cord connected to a cheap $13 on/off thermostat (I buy 5 at a time cause there so cheap, shipping takes a while) humidity stays from 94%-96%. I'm surprised how stable the temps are using a on/off thermostat only fluctuating .5 degrees Celsius
I plan on using the no substrate method so still need to buy some egg crate. (If anyone can tell me where to get this it would be helpful. Feel free to post your own DIY

Egg crate can be sourced at aquarium shops. Its easily broken so if you ask there might be some damaged bits you can pick up on the cheap too.
I scored a few sheets of a more robust equivalent that was left overs from the A/C vents on a construction site I worked at so if you know any A/C installers it might pay to ask them too.

Whats going in the incubator?
