ID please/ bad smell story

3 days ago i noticed a very bad smell coming in through my window into my room, today we noticed our ac wasnt working aswell. after looking around i found this in the ac unit, it had maggots all through the bit that stuck to the bottom of the unit.




i live in the sutherland area sydney. i think its a blue toung but what type of blue toung im unsure. the other blue toungs around the area dont have the orange patches.

it has been disposed of next to an ant nest in the bush. this is our 7th dead lizard in 3 years of living at this place and only 1 of thos were due to our dogs.

It's a common or eastern blue tonuge.

They are common around sydney, and can contain alot of orange.

Its a eastern blue tongue (Tiliqua scincoides).
They can be pretty variable in pattern/colour.
