I have been using http://www.oz-pet.net.au/litter.html as substrate for some time now... no issues so far. I usually feed in the enclosure on a rubber mat to lessen the chance of swallowing it.
Anyway, today my BHP did swallow (I think) 1 piece. A few bits stuck to a rat that he'd attempted to swallow backwards. I tried getting it off while he was swallowing the rat but I think I missed one piece stuck between the rat's legs.
Long story short... should I be concerned ?
