Introducing an adult male EWD...

Hey!
I'm after a male EWD for my female to mate with, she's never been in contact with other lizards however she gets along with my cat?!
So I was wondering what other peoples experiences were like with introducing other lizards/snakes into an enclosure.. and how you went about it?

Hahaha.
It's a weird little friendship they have!
I can picture a furry EWD... I dunno if I think they're cute because they look so odd.. or because they would actually be cute.
Cat+Lizard... hmm... catard?
