hey guys and girls,
so i have just purchased my 3rd ackie its a boy to join my 2 girls, all are approx 2 yrs of age and all approx the same size, my male is currently in quarantine so its not urgent but the question still needs to be asked and hopefully answered by the pros.
1. is there a trick to introducing the ackies to each other?
2. how long would you give each supervised intro?
3. is it worth trading enclosures for a couple of weeks so they can scent each other and not get too fired up?
some more beta on housing etc. the 2 girls are currently in a 4ftx2ftx2ft tank, but are going to be moving into their new condo ( my DIY 6ftx3ftx2ft ) soon, they have a halogen 50watt down light and a compact UV for calcium absorbtion.
the new condo will have 2 basking sites and UV light etc with multiple hides logs vertical climbing space and a 1.5 foot of dirt/sand for them to burrow.
obviously i dont want anyone to be injured during the meet and great so any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
