Hey guys, first time on these forums and just after a little help :D. So, i bought my first snake last Christmas (jungle carpet python) he is now between the age of 1.5 to 2 years (pet store wasn't specific on age) and is between 85 to 90cm was around 30-35cm when i bought him). I feel like he is small for his age and was underfed at the pet store in which i got him so now i was wondering what you guys recommend for (i guess you would call it) feeding him up. Since i bought him i fed him a a variety or rats and mice every 8 to 11 days. he is currently eating small to medium size mice every 7-10 days, i was wondering if i feed him the medium mice every 7 days if that would cause health problems or would just increase growth rate? thank you for your help.
if you guys think he is looking around the right size just let me know :)

pictures provided are 1 just after i bought him (January 2014) and 2 taken recently (November).

The size of your jungle at that age seems fine to me, jungles aren't a overly large growing snake. I would how ever suggest trying it on something larger than medium mice. It should have no problems taking adult mice or even small weaner rats at that size.

Oh sweet, maybe I am just a little nervous since he is my first snake :)

Are they more nutritional or is it just to get him started on rats?
