Check out this short clip on Google Video,shows a King Brown catching a Small Inland Taipan. The smaller snake has a go at the Brown first which appears to agitate the larger snake which in turn decides it is lunch time. Some of you may have already seen this clip before so my opologies if it has already been previously circulated...Scott

its interesting to note what happens when a brown snake/taipan etc bites a black snake (including mulga king brown). NOT MUCH. But when the less venemous (to humans) black bites the brown!!!!
 
just shows that there really isnt a most toxic venom as such, they are all specialised towards a certain type of prey and flesh
 
I think its more likely a Western Brown. Could be mistaken but thought it worth a mention.
