Light fitting for ReptEVO 4ft glass enclosure.

Hello I have my blue tongue skink setup in this enclosure:

The ReptEVO which comes with the 50w Fan Heated Light, my lights been getting real noisy so I'm thinking of getting a new light. I'm completely clueless on what lights to look for and how to sit it in my enclosure? Can you place lamps onto on the mesh ok or do I need suspended in above the mesh/ basking area?
Also while I'm hear I'm wondering if a heat mat is worthwhile too to keep the tank warm. I know the glass isn't too good at holding heat.

Heard mixed opinions on the mats, some uses them, some don't.

Those fan heaters are not very good so it is good that you are replacing it. You can just place the heat light on the mesh but make sure your basking temp where the lizard will sit is still warm enough. You will not need a mat if this temperature is fine.
