had a look aroun at a few boxes an there just to xpensive so im buildn my own
an ive decided on central netteds to start with.
its still gonna be a 4x2x2 and i have a 3"flouro and just orderd one of the
microclimate b1me therms. i was was thinkn how many heat sources should i have?
i was thinking two ceramic heat lamps and a large heat matt
how would i position these on the roof?
would this be enough?
Thanks for the help

it sounds like plenty, i wouldn't use 2 ceramic heat lamps though as it is vital that the lizards have bath a hot & a cool place in the enclosure. Be careful with the heat mat as this can sometimes lead to constipation.

Also make sure that they can get within 20cm on the flouro, otherwise it will be useless.

if money is an issue then just get a 3ft, you could comfortably house a pair or trio in a 3ft. For my small dragons i just give them once heat source. You want it to get up to 40-50c. I wouldnt use ceramics, Use something that emits light.

Im just kinda workn with what i have
i got a free chain of 3 ceramic light fitting
and i want a pretty big enclosure so i can stack a few and it matchs the size of my oscar tank
wouldnt the lights keep them up at night?
an i heard ceramics lasted longer than light bulbs.
what if i just scrapped the mat an used the lights?
im gonna have them all up one end too.

i dont bother with night heating but a light emiting heat source is best for dragons.

What about this one then.
how bout 2 60w ceramics and one 100w light?
i dont really want to leave any of the light fittings open.
