im just wondering if there is anything wrong with this procedure, it does work.

because baby bds are hard to get to eat vegies, hold them up about 10cm from heat lamp, after a few seconds, they will open mouth to vent, place a small piece of grated carrot in mouth, they wil chew, and begin to search for more, repeat.

do not place animal too close to lamp, only place animal this close for a short time, (less than 10 sec.)
 
Can't believe the info some people post seriously (not taking a shot at you oxyuranus) but that info is just OUT THERE!

ummm who said you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink? I bet this fool could by 1/2 drowning the friggin thing :p
 
They dont need veges when they are really young just wait until they eat them at will.
There is vegetable matter in the insects you feed tham anyway.
