krav maga is great, my boyfriend does it. not exactly your typical martial arts but i like it
third dan black belt taekwondo and cross trained in brazilian JJ for a few years done it for a total of 16 years. had to stop recently because of the toll it has taken on my body broke two ankles 2 ribs and a colar bone doing it knees are buckled and hips are pretty stuffed aswell
but i wouldnt change any of it for the world had fun met some great people and done alot of damage to others over the years during tournaments
i started in karate did that for 12 years and reached as far as i saw that i could ( Black 2nd Dan) i then changed to kicking boxing and with that Muay Thai i trained with some of the worlds best ( Benny the Jet, Murrice The Mean Machine Smith, Stan the Man Longinidis, Jeff Fench, Adam Watt and many more, what are u looking for speed ! the hardest hitters are boxers ! if i was starting a MA now i would take different classes in different MA's - why ! well boxers have the hardest punches its proven- try ju jitsu for locks, throws, submissions, reaserch all MA's then mix that why what you develop that into YOUR OWN style . WHY ! well we are better at some MA's than others and we tend to go in different ways once in never back.
boxing- builds speed and hitt strenght
mauy thai - blunt force and style change
karate- self displane - you can get sick of this fast - katas
ju jitsu- locks throws submissions - i love ju jitsu but wish i had learned this earlier ?
kung fu - wing chun - speed
many more

i have other places that may help you but do have the info at work and after a quick look on the net could'nt find what i was looking for
e boxing was the most fun and is good to take the sting out of any aggression you think you have if you spare 3 nights a week the last thing you want to do is go out and fight the other nights.
None of them do sheet if you havent got balls & a heart.
Ive always done boxing, i think any of the non contact or limited contact are a w ank.
You can have the blackest belt in the world, but its no use if you get your nose broken & you start crying like a girly girl.lol
none of the styles i mentioned are ****, non of them are noncontact as a matter of fact the last gym i was at (bjj,greco-roman,muay thai) was all about fighting mma which i did plus being a doormen off and on for 5 yrs (4yrs total)i tell you it works
