Well the Peron's have been hanging around all summer which is awesome.
Here's a pic of a couple down a pipe that's actually my front gate post.
It shows how variable their colouring can be.
It's funny when they're in the pipe & croak, sounds amusing.

That is adorable! You are so lucky to have wild life in your back yard. In the 4 years i have lived here i have seen 1 skink and 1 spotted marsh frog:(

Used to get heaps of frogs and lizards when i lived further down the peninsular

Yeah I am lucky to have them around, living in the busy Sydney burbs! We get the occasional eastern bluey visit, we have stacks of Golden Water Skinks (heaps of babies around at the moment), the ubiquitous Delicate Skink & Garden Skink, & another small striped skink I can't identify.

Cheers for the comments everyone, have a ripper NYE tonight!

god i miss my old house. right now im guessing there is about 5-10 skinks just basking on the warm concrete.
and at night the frogs and the bats and the huge bogong moths would come out.
we would get roos in our backyard every morning and every day just about a wedge tail eagle would fly over.
now only 20 mins away from the im living in ballarat and i hate it
