I went on reptile traders and thick tailed geckos are $195
i went on pet magic and they are $165

it abit out of my price range
im not ready to buy yet but i want to get all my reserch done

does anyone know any people in perth who breeds and sells them WITH A LICENCE

I have seen people in VIC,QLD etc that sell for $35-80 whats my range
but if they sent it over it would't have the WA licence .
so im not sure

Seems a bit steep those prices (for victoria anyway)
Wait a bit until hatchies are ready and breeding season is over.
Should be some available then.
Don't know about your import regulations in W.A.

You can import geckos into WA from other states.

Ok dw about that now i need to know

If i got to this place buy the gecko and get the licence what is a cat3 $40 a year
If i buy a snake whats a cat 3 do i need a new licence for a snake so i pay $80 a year or can i buy any cat 3s

Im also in W.A and you will notice our prices are massivly high compared to the eastern states. its mainly due to the licence fees. if you get a licence you can keep as many reptiles on that level of licence as you want while only paying that for that one licence. Im also looking at getting geckoes but am expecting to pay about 200$ea. Also remember that even our bearded dragons are still going for 180$. if you have any more queries feel free to pm

that still sucks

we only pay $56 or something a year for basic license and can have 10 of each breed or reptile and our prices are still low so think wa is just over priced

Every thing is over prices in WA

In QLD ply wood 9mm is $20
In WA Ply wood 9mm $40

And a cat 3 is $40 a year

You can import gex into WA - but only the ones that we are able to keep here anyway. Import/transfer fees would likely make them cost the same as buying in state.
