Started an enclosure for some jungle pythons around 5 weeks ago... This is the progress... It was originally a cabinet which I messed up in a bad way and had to pull it appart and replace various pieces and clean up the wood... These are the steps I took... this is also my first ever enclosure...

1 Cleaned up wood...

2 Stain the wood...

3 Marine Varnish wood...

4 Place cabinet back together...

5 Back of cabinet with the light box in it...

6 Add front panels to cabinet...

7 Stain outside and patch up screw holes...

8 Marine Varnish outside... Paint Job Complete...

9 Stain and Marine Varnish doors...

10 Add doors, clean out enclosure and move it inside...

11 Add downlight lighting in...

This is the current progress... Its by no means finished, needs furnishings in enclosure, glass for doors, and the bottom enclosure finished... Will keep you updated with pics when it is complete... Hope you enjoy... Cheers...

looks good mate id recommend building your own hides, backgrounds etc. I started and was not confident but the hardest part was finding the materials.
