These ones are found in a reasonably small area in Western Australia - I think Westaussie is the only licensed taker that can get these red ones.

Yes they are T.rugosa rugosa. I have not seen enough asper to compare the tails.
 
Im not really a big shingleback fan........ but they are freakin sweet.

Whats the difference b/w asper and rugosa? I just thought a stumpy was a stumpy :?
 
well there is 3 subspecies currently recognised in W.A
Tiliqua rugosa rugosa, T.r. palarra and T.r.konowi
and even though T.r.asper has been recorded on the western side of the S.A border, it is generally considered as the eastern form of Shingleback, bobtail, stumpytail, pinecone lizard or whatever people choose to call it.
 
wow :shock: awesome looking shinglebacks!! Really love these guys along with the blueys as well
