Got a callout from an English family on holiday about a brown snake in the garden. Surprisingly it was a brown snake but unfortunately it was pining for the fiords. There was no rigamortis and I treated it as possible live. No visible trauma marks but I could see a distinct lump in its throat when held up by the tail. This is the second brown I have got in this condition.
