A few years ago, I baby-sat one for a friend for 6 months and grew attached to them, by chance I was contacted by a breeder and now.....

I hope you like him/her, I havent thought of a name and dont want 'Frank' or 'Diana', If anyone can think of a good one.
These guys are the 'pitbull' of monitors and to watch one at feeding time is a sight! They have real attitude and a real strut - Too cool!!!!
Cheers

thanks for the names, greebo, I named my son syd! after syd barret though, his middle name is marshall- the same as Jimi's. The lizard cost me $300.
I like dino, though still undecided.

he/she is so cute i don't mind babysitting either but as for a cool name i like bandit, bruno, godzzilla, he-man, slasher, slayer and betty-boon (he he he just kidding)

wow thats so cool. im dense, what kind of monitor is that in pic 3 please?

It's the same as all the other pictures. It's called a spencers or heath monitor.

health monitor, cool! sure has nice color and pattern. looks in good health too.

It's called a spencers or heath monitor.

No, spencers monitors (varanus spenceri) and heath monitor (varanus rosenbergi) are completely different monitors. By the way the pic is of a spencers monitor

oops, [laughin] my mistake. beautiful animal anyways, head color/pattern is terrific.
