i have seen them in the mallee region of vic, so that would mean low humidity. i think they live for only a few years.
i would be suprised if they were good handlers. the wild ones i saw lived in burrows with a couple of entrances, move VERY quickly and were seen to climb a little. cute little guys and if i remember correctly the males will colour-up during the breeding season.

I find them to be usually boring colours...an easy 1.5....however.....with a quick trip to bunnings and the right eye for purchasing the correct matching colours they can turn from a boring 1.5 to a VERY EXCITING 13.69! Just with a few quick squirts from a can.

IM EXCITED!

1. how big do they grow? Not very.... small Ctenophorus.... they are usually a bit smaller than central netted adults.
2. are they good handelers? No
3. how big of an enclosure do they need? I'd keepa trio in at least a three foot tank, they are very active and would apprciate the space
4. are they a high humidity dragon? No, inland species, keep the humidity low by supplying a HOT basking spot and a small water dish.
5. are they a high temp dragon? Yes, see last comment about basking spot.
5. do they climb? Yes, to some extent, but not like aboreal dragons
6. can they be sexed at a young age? Not to my knowledge. Maybe able to be popped.
7. are they hard to breed? no.... same as other Ctenophorus. The challenge is to stop them breeding.
8. are they hard to care for? No, as long as simple needs are met they are undemanding captives.
9. what would you rate the colours out of ten? 7
10. are they pricey? Not sure this season, maybe $150 for young animals.
