Aww. Sweet story.

My pet rat had to be put to sleep at the vets yesterday.
She had a tumor in her nose, she was 2 years old.

That's sad but I guess that's life. I bet she had a good life living with you

I would always spoil her with treats... it used to get on my boyfriend's nerve because whenever we do the groceries I always go down the health food lane and look for special treats for the rats, lol... he's always like "but the rats have enough treats!"

Sounds like my dog! My dog was spoilt rotten with treats, like Dentastix, duck strips and what-not.
When my dog got older, about a year or two before he was put down, my Dad started cooking food especially for him, a mix of cooked rice, vegetables and meat, he ate better than I did some nights
Sounds like she was a very very lucky rat indeed.
