Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can ID this little guy. I have spotted him showing up the last few nights and was wondering what type of frog it is.
Sorry about the bad photos but it was dark and I only had my phone.

Thanks,
Andy

to me it looks like a perrons tree frog cause of the cross on the eyes

I would put my money on Perons tree frog AKA Litoria peroni
But lately my gambling has put me into debt :p

Yes, it is definitely a Peron's.

I have been fortunate to have a small colony living in my yard over summer (you can see some of my pics of them in other threads if you do a search). They are very variable in colouration, I saw a small one the other day, it was almost completely white. They are also sometimes known as an Emerald Spotted Tree Frog. They seem to be fairly common this year for some reason (around my area I've heard heaps of them).
