hi, this question is for people who successfully keep their carpets outside in Brisbane area. My 3.5 year old Tashi is in her new outdoor aviary and seems quite happy - she's been very active at night, staying out on branch all night (not in hide) basking in sun for the morning then hiding out for hot afternoon (cage gets some sun until 2pm, but has some shade at all times too) i want to give her a couple more feeds before cooling, but not sure whether the cooler nights would hinder digestion despite the hot days. I've still got her indoor enclosure and was debating whether to bring her back inside to feed until it digests. What do you think?

feed her, she will be ok. i keep a murray darling, diamonds and a coastal all outside in avairys. im in sydney and the weather is cooling down here. all are still feeding without any problems. you will find your snake wont eat if its not warm enough for it to digest its food. if your avairy has 4 hours of sun, then thats plenty of time for your snake to warm its self

Considering the weather up here is still warm during the day then it shouldnt be a problem. If you did feed her and we got cooler weather ,then your option can be bring her inside into her other enclosure with warmth so she can digest the food item..But ATM the weather would be fine to feed her outside..

I just started doing this with a trio of coastals.
So far all of the are shedding and eating it's going great

Yes, some people think they don't need big enclosures because they're so lazy and all, but Tashi is constantly on the move, exploring every single space in her enclosure - i think she's much better off outside, and getting some natural sunlight each day without me having to worry about her escaping up a tree is a plus... Go coastals! I will put up some pics soon. i think she loves her new home - i'll give her a feed tomorrow... thanks again for comments.
