i was reading my permit information and it says i can have to 2 restricted reptiles- other than the family elapidae .would this just be colubrids??? :p im in qld too.

as far as i know colubrids are not restricted, it means 2 can keep 2 endangered species such as the mary river turtle. I also got a sheet from the epa about what can b kept on different licences and it says that not all elapids are restricted but i dun think thats right, i think all elapids are restricted

You can keep 2 x womas or 2 x gtp or 1 woma and 1 gtp, on a rec licence.

are yellow faced whipsnakes and other harmless elapids restricted herps?

Ive looked over this issue a few times, wondering what the verdict is.

On your application form, it lists all the Elapids that you cant keep, which leads me to believe the ones that havnt been mention you can keep.

The one i was intrested in was the curl snake, which wasnt mentioned as being restricted.
