Rainbow Boa, Amazon jungle, Peru.

We came across this beautiful rainbow boa last year when we stayed in the amazon in Peru last year, She was just making her way across one of the tracks in the jungle and didnt mind being photographed.

4th and 5th pics is are of a little snake making his way across a small lake, not sure what species?

It looks like Epicrates cenchria? nice animals, especially to see in the wild..

Yeah, we were stoked to see her.

Even our guides were surprised. They said there arent many around due to poaching

We were deep in the jungle(bout 5 hours down the amazon river by boat) but didnt see as much as we hoped for.

i`ve been told if you travel into the lowlands into Brazil there is more to see.
