hi everybody
i am getting a reptile to be couriered to the central coast. but if i post it today it wont arrive till monday
can a snake survive in a pillowcase (in a box with some ventilation) for 2-3 days? or would it die?
any help would be greatly appreciated

age, length, species?

personally for any snake i wouldnt put it in a pillowcase to be shipped. id make a cheap clickclack and send it in that inside a box with plenty of styrafoam or shredded paper around it with lots of ventilation holes. but in saying that it does vary with each snake

I'd get a plastic tub and fill it with shredded paper then place that in a box with more shredded paper around for packing. Gives it room to breath and stops it bouncing around while also providing a substrate that it can move around in and feels safe like a hide. just be sure to make plenty of air holes on all sides. I've seen people drive from Victoria to Brisbane using this method and they've been fine for 3 days
