Hey guys, just wandering what the licensing requirements are for a Rough Scaled Python in SA. Do I need a basic or specialist license?
I have heard people that a RSP was their first python, but that was in a different state so the licensing was different.

Thanks,
Sabohan

No idea what SA licencing requirements are but i know for a fact that all the states have different laws and that the types of animals allowed on a basic licence varies between states. So i would believe what Rocket said in your other thread.

We are pretty lucky in queensland, most things are on a basic licence except elapids.

Here's the basic animals list. If the reptile isn't on this list then you'll need to apply for the Specialist Permit. In the case of pythons, the upgraded permit will allow you to keep GTP's, RSP's etc (well mine does anyway).

Okay thankyou, I know Rocket answered this in another thread, and I trust his knowledge, I just wanted to know other peoples opinion.
Thanks.
