I apologise in advance to anyone who has asked this question before, but what are the basic husbandry requirements for sandswimmers? Most importantly, do they need UV light?
I was thinking of getting one soon..

Thanks heaps in advance!
:)

Pretty easy to care for. I keep my adult in a 3ft tank with sand. Hot spot around 30odd degrees etc. I don't have UV on him but dust his food with calcium & D3 powder.
They are eating machines and can get obese if you let them. Mine is on a diet as his tail is fatter than his body
If you get more than one, you need to watch them incase they fight as they can kill each other quite quickly.
