thats awesome its huge well done for rescuing it alot of people will say its illegal to interfere with a reptile but i think removing an animal from the road is pretty nobel .
Its rather large for an eastern longneck .
could be an expansa maybe?
someone a bit more turtle savy may be able to id it.

Yes the turtle is a Chelodina expansa or a Broadshelled turtle.

Well done on saving it from being road kill and great job returning it to the wild.

good job screw the stupid law anyways Doing something to save another life is better then letting it run the risk of death. World needs more people who go out of their way to preserve species. Hope you had a good time with the little cutie
