So I come home from work and I found this stunning creature casually walking out from under my bed. I coaxed her to the kitchen with my shoe (not squashing-just giving her a gentle nudge) and trapped her. She can't climb on smooth surfaces (ground dweller?) also seems nocturnal given she was wandering around at night.
I noticed she's missing a foot :( , not that she's short of feet :p . I didn't damage her, it must be an old injury.

I'm in Campbelltown NSW.

What do you think? do you recon she's a wolf spider? Gorgeous markings.
I'm saving her in a mouse transport tank to show hubby when he comes home :) . Then I'll let her go.
I do find similar ones occasionally. She's a decent size about 3.5cm from front legs to back, she'd be up there on the biggest ones.

idk what it is but i get them all the time here

They're pretty common here too. All have unique patterns.

I did trap one in Belmore when I used to live there, I kept that one as a pet. It's name was Baygon :D . But the colour was different. This is a photo of Baygon:

I'm not sure if it's the same spider, I know that one loved small roaches.
