we have never had this happen before, but probarly is normal, but thought I would ask just in case.
We brought home our albino Darwin 3 days ago, he was only in a small tank in store, we brought him home, and straight away he was off exploring his new much larger enclosure, he found the ledge with the heat lamps, and curled up.
We had to move him that night as he had pulled down the thermostat and we had to fix it, we could get him out of the tank, as he wrapped around everything and became quite defensive. ( he was the calmest snake I’ve met prior to purchase really chilled out).
So we left him alone and fixed it another way. Since then he has curled up at the bottom corner of the enclosure away from the heat lamps and hasn’t moved, and has become really cage defensive, is this just him settling in? Should we just give him time?
