Age: 2 years
Sex: Female (Breeder's word only, haven't stuck a probe up yet)

rats, spends most of her time sleeping. Exercises during morning and evening (noise
activity related I suppose) Likes warm water baths (1/3 hot, 2/3 cold) and climbing
places she shouldn't. Prefers glass greenhouse and velvet basket in the enclosure

Enclosure 600mm x 600mm x 900mm (3 vents, 3 bayonett fittings left, thermostat control
for heat source on right (allows higher temperature on the left). Gradient about 2-3C. Basic white melamine woodchip core boards and sliding glass doors with rubber stopper.

Handling and Feeding

Requires hook or object to lift her out, otherwise let her crawl (slither) up your arm. Don't just reach in. I'd say she's an average handler - she'll just look for a place to hide again within five minutes of removal.

Does have periods two weeks before shedding where she refuses to eat, and it can sometimes be a three week fasting. Can consume live or dead prey. Have not tried her on a full grown live (and fighting) mice yet, only live fuzzies.
