Hey guys, I'm in some serious need of help.

I've got an adult spotted python that has got mites, I've done the 30 Min bathing everyday for a couple weeks but I'm still finding them and have swapped to "MAC MITE INSECTICIDE" spraying enclosure once a week as per instructions. (Snakes are outside enclosure for spraying then placed inside sprayed enclosure) a few days ago I have noticed that she is rubbing her head on everything to the point she has stripped the scales off her head.

Any ideas on what might be causing it? I keep going back to stress but not sure how to help her. She won't go in any hides I've put in humidity is sitting at 60% and temp at 27c. I'm treating the area with a betadine solution (1:10)

should I stop using the mite spray? If so how can I kill the things (I'm on week 4 of treatment)

Am I better off heading to the vet?

Yes.. please take your little sweetheart to the vets. Once those scales are lifted / removed, it allows bacteria to get in & cause infection.
I would be 99% sure that he will need a course of antibiotics now. By rights, the infection could kill him. Good luck. Got my fingers crossed for you both. 🤞🤞🤞
