Howdy :D
I've just finished my first uni exam (next are tomorrow and thur) and as a treat to myself decided to look into differnt stimmy, spotted and childrens patterns on here and from google (the current antaresia freaks thread started this) to decide which species I prefer the pattern of...

I've decided that I like the stimmys the most (used to prefer blonde spotteds, but am not keen on the appearance of the adults). I like the stimmys with a 'clean' (i.e. no dark outlines etc on the scales) pale beigy coloured base colour and big bold reddish-brown 'blotches,' like the ones in the pictures below. I also love the look of them when they have a kind of "stripe" latrally near the cranial end

What I'd like from you guys, if your willing, is to post some pictures of your stimmys, including;
-who you got them off
- how old they are
- what locality
- how much do they generally cost for the different localities?

Before you say to use the search function, I already have, and I've googled my heart out as well.. lol. I'd just like to get some potential breeders that I'd like to source a hatchling from in the future :)

Awesome, thanks for that :D I did see your stimmies in the antaresia freaks thread; I love this one, so jealous! Who bred it? do you mind me asking how much this one cost, and do you happen to have any pics of the parents lying around?

From your "this seasons additions" thread, I love your wheatbelt female (Coco) and the sandfire (ruby)

I love true B+G jungles as well, but I'm kind of a bit iffy on the size and the snappy reptutation they've earnt themselves.. would LOVE a B+G but will most likely get myself a stimmy first :) (I LOVE your Calypso :D)

Thanks again, and sorry bout all the questions, I'm just eager :D

Those pics are an update of Ruby the Sandfire. I don't have pics of the parents - she was bred by snake ranch - last seasons 20/20 offer pairs were $575.

Fantastic, exactly what I'm after, thanks :D

Any hope that you'll keep posting updates of your gorgeous stimmys as time goes on?

Thanks for your help :)

here is my only Georgetown locale

I cant wait until I get my stimmie from Snake Ranch!

Good luck with your exams :)

Mhmm also now tossing up between a wheatbelt stimmy and a tanami woma (Womas are class 1 in QLD right?) how big (length and girth) do tanamis get?

There's no "class" system in QLD, as there is in NSW. Womas are "restricted" due to their status in the wild and the fact that they inhabit QLD (QLD EPA don't give a toss if an animal is 'threatened' if its natural distribution doesn't include QLD).

You can only keep a total of two restricted reptiles in QLD without having a "specialist" license.

So I would be fine in keeping two womas on my basic license? (I'd only be getting one though).

How big do the different woma localities get? Mostly interested in Tanami, but others would be good too :)

Nice stimmies guy's

This is Antaresia Stimsoni Orientalis. The subspecies in the stimmies. Bred by a friend of mine here on the coast. Note the banding pattern.

This is a McDonnel Ranges stimmie, purchased the pair a little under a year ago from Simon Stone when they were 12 months. Just starting to show their true colours.
