There is a thread on here at the moment about a Mac with a very swollen mouth and there are four pages of "go to the vet" and some way off suggestions but at this time of the year with cooling and mating and lower temps a reptiles immune system cops a beating now "Stomatitus" is one of the mouth/oral infections that often rear their head at this time now l have done a cut and paste from Wikipedia a brief one but keepers should make themselves familiar with this oral condition particular time of the year (cooling)
Stomatitis is an inflammation of the mucous lining of any of the structures in the mouth, which may involve the cheeks, gums, tongue, lips, throat, and roof or floor of the mouth. The inflammation can be caused by conditions in the mouth itself, such as poor oral hygiene, dietary protein deficiency,

My childreni girl had stomatitus recently - we took her to the vet within a week of symptoms appearing, we gave her antibiotic injections every three days for 2 months, and now after a final vet check she has been given the all clear and is completely healthy again. I would advise anyone who is the slightest bit concerned about their animal to take them to the vet - a $60 consult fee and $12 for antibiotics was definitely worth it now that is has made her well again.
