hey guys, i've got a 3ft long X 36cm wide X 45cm tall aquarium lying around at home.. I was thinking about putting a turtle in it. Before I go any further I was wondering if anybody could name some turtles that would suite this size tank (hopefully full grown). And possibly name some breeders in/around my area.

thanks :)
Daniel.

none fully grown, its suitable for a hatchling or two... for maybe 2 years..

after that, a pond? or a 6x2x2 foot tank OR OVER.

short choices are pretty much murray short neck, or eastern long.. or if you have class 2-3 licence.. Australian snappers etc. saw shelled..

hmm, so if you had just the one you don't think it would be suitable?

Is there anything you could suggest for that size tank? whether it be land or water dweller.

cheers.

no turtles at all will live in that till fully grown.
you could have one in there for maybe 2 years but thats it.
personally i would get a snake of some sort, fish or divide it in half and get gex

it isnt suitable for an adult turtle.

maybe gecko's....... a jacky dragon or a pygmy beardie... i wouldnt go more then one tho.. they are territorial and solitary.

some goldfish... ?
