I don't culture termites but I do collect them and keep them for a few weeks. I usually collect every three weeks and that seems to be enough.
The biggest threat to held termites is dehydration and mould/ fungus.
i tried the method Danny has on his website but it didn't work for me.
I now put pieces of termite mound in a click clack and give a spray with a water bottle every few days when it starts to look dry. Harvesting every few days. I feed them of about 3-4 times a week but have fed less frequently in the past 2 times a week and that still seems enough.
