Thanks for accepting my registration. I am new to this field but have already learnt some interesting points while reading your forums. I bought my first snake today, a diamond x coastal. 6 weeks old. I have it in an stored on a smaller plastic enclosure inside another larger enclosure. I have been told varying things on the right temperature to keep these guys at and debates as to whether to lower their temperature at night or keep it at the one constant temperature for the first 12 months. Any opinions on this and the right temp suggested. Also, what can I do to encourage my snake to she'd its skin. It eats well. Just waiting for the first shed. Cheers in advance

Hi and congrats on your 1st snake. I have a coastal and he has a warm end and a cool end lol others will share there thoughts on suitable temps im sure. As for helping him to shed you dont have to do a thing! lol just feed him always have fresh water in the enclosure and the rest he will sort out himself :D
