Thick Tailed Gecko barking unsure?????

hey I tried handling my 1 year old thick tailed gecko which i have only had for a week. I put him down and he started to bark at me, I no this is normal if they feel threatened but I'm just unsure if this made him stressed or would cause other problems and also does this mean I shouldn't handle him again.

They dont like it, hence the barking. Best not to handle it.

Gecko's are a look and dont play with critter! just leave it be, provide it with its basic needs and it
will be happy.
